Wine tasting to Cantine del Vesuvio Winery

And it is for this reason that in the lands around the volcano, there is the best production of cherry tomatoes (the famous “piennolo” tomatoes from Vesuvius), and the best vineyards for the production of the famous wine “Lacryma Christi”. We will accompany you in this fantastic experience, in the most important winery in the Vesuvian area:
“Cantina del Vesuvio” of the Russo family. A winemaker will welcome you and will accompany you in their vast vineyards, explaining the particular fertilization during the harvesting of the grapes up to the production of their famous wine.
You will walk among splendid olive groves and taste their extra virgin olive oil production. You will be welcomed in the room where you will taste local appetizers, such as bruschetta, cheeses, cured meats etc … you can taste the famous spaghetti with Vesuvius tomatoes and finally sweets of their production. All accompanied by different types of wine (white, red and rose’) “Lacryma Christi”. And finally….an excellent grappa of their own production!
